It’s bittersweet watching your children grow. As the years pass they need you less and they begin to make their own decisions. Each will lead them down their own unique path and journey through life. All we can do is cling to the memories and hope we have given them the tools they need to do great things.
A Beautiful Time with a Beautiful Family
Being a North Shore family photographer, I get to meet all kinds of different families at many varied stages of life. This family of five was visiting from California, enjoying a nice relaxing vacation in Oahu. The children are older now and will soon be embarking on their own adventures. Mom and Dad wanted to document this special time of togetherness and savor every moment with them.
They had a relaxing afternoon soaking up each other’s company. They watched the sunset and explored tide pools. It’s obvious they are an incredibly close-knit family. I’m so glad I got to be a small part of their story as I captured these sweet moments that will soon be stored away as memories passed. Everyone will be off on their own adult adventures soon…but I have a feeling they’ll always come back together as a family to once again enjoy each other’s company.
